(Baohatinh.vn) - Son Duong Port (belonging to Formosa Ha Tinh) handled nearly 23 million tons of goods in 11 months, contributing to boosting production, import and export, and increasing the competitiveness of the Vung Ang Economic Zone.

In the first 11 months of 2025, Formosa Ha Tinh Hung Nghiep Steel Company Limited (Formosa Ha Tinh) received 898 vessel visits to Son Duong port, ensuring safe and smooth port operations.

The total volume of goods unloaded reached nearly 23 million tons, including raw materials for steelmaking and import and export goods of Formosa Ha Tinh through the port area.

Maintaining stable output demonstrates the important role of Son Duong port in the supply chain of Formosa Ha Tinh as well as in the logistics operations of the Vung Ang Economic Zone. The unit continues to strictly implement ship scheduling, control, and maritime safety measures, meeting production and operational requirements under complex weather conditions.

For the remainder of 2025, Formosa Ha Tinh is continuing to optimize its loading and unloading processes, improve port equipment efficiency, and coordinate with relevant authorities to ensure maritime safety, aiming to achieve its 2025 production target.
