The rolling hills, shaped like inverted bowls and covered in lush green tea leaves, stretch endlessly to the horizon. This is Long Coc, an ecotourism commune that is receiving significant attention in Phu Tho province.

Located more than 100 km northwest of Hanoi , Long Coc tea hills in Long Coc commune (Phu Tho province) are considered one of the most beautiful tea hills in Vietnam. They attract tourists with the beauty of their cluster of dome-shaped hills, the lush green landscape stretching as far as the eye can see, and are regarded as one of the most beautiful tea hills in Vietnam.

October and November are the ideal months for cloud hunting at Long Coc tea hills. Not only tourists , but also many photographers are attracted by the gentle beauty of the clouds, resembling a dragon's body draped across the mountainside.

The Long Cốc tea plantation area is nestled almost entirely within a mountainous region, adjacent to Xuân Sơn National Park. The entire Long Cốc commune has nearly 700 hectares of tea plantations currently in production and owned by local people, primarily the Mường ethnic group.

As the first rays of sunlight gently touch the thin mist and tender leaves, the clouds spread across the sky, painting the tea hills with a magical hue.

Hundreds of tea hills are nestled closely together, with trails in between serving as pathways for people to travel and harvest tea. Along some of these trails, people plant large trees with wide canopies to provide resting places while harvesting tea.

Most of the tea plants in Long Coc are over 20 years old, and on average, farmers harvest them once every two months.

The tea grown here is mainly of the Bat Tien, Phuc Van Tien, and Shan Tuyet varieties… Locals usually harvest from 6 am so that the tea buds are fresh and covered in dew.

In addition, some valuable tea varieties are hand-picked by local people, resulting in uniform buds that fetch higher prices.
