Attending the Conference were Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Bich, Head of the Vietnam Journalists Association Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Le Huy Toan, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio and Television, and Chairman of the Lam Dong Journalists Association; Mr. Vu Ngoc Tu, Deputy Director of Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio and Television, and Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Journalists Association; and members of the Journalists Associations of 9 provinces in the Central Highlands and Central Coast: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and Lam Dong.

2025 is a particularly significant year, marking the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025). It is also the first year that the emulation cluster of Journalists' Associations in the Central Highlands and Central Coastal provinces will operate under a more expanded "common roof" after the merger.

Despite facing many difficulties, with a spirit of solidarity and responsibility, the Emulation Cluster of Journalists' Associations of the Central Highlands and Central Coastal provinces, with 3,386 members, has strived to overcome challenges and achieved encouraging results.
The widespread implementation of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; the strict enforcement of the Press Law and the Code of Professional Ethics for Vietnamese Journalists; and the emulation movement to build a cultural environment in press agencies have truly become part of daily life, helping journalists maintain "a clear mind, a pure heart, and a sharp pen."

Professionally, journalistic activities continue to be a highlight. Attention is paid to professional training, the selection of outstanding journalistic works to participate in the National Journalism Awards, and other national and local-level awards.
In particular, major events such as the implementation of the two-tiered local government model, the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day, and the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Journalists Association were widely and thoroughly covered by the media.

In addition, the Associations continue to innovate, improve quality, and apply technology to serve their work on digital platforms, as well as actively participate in social, charitable, cultural, and sports activities.

Alongside the achievements, the delegates also frankly acknowledged the limitations, including those due to both subjective and objective reasons, and offered suggestions for the future operation of the Emulation Cluster.

At the Conference, the Emulation Cluster of Journalists' Associations of the Central Highlands and Central Coastal provinces signed an emulation agreement for 2026. Accordingly, the Cluster will focus on continuing to innovate the content of Association activities; strengthening digital transformation and professional activities; coordinating with each other to carry out tasks towards the National Congress of the Vietnam Journalists' Association; the 2026 National Press Conference; the First Central Highlands and Central Coastal Region Journalism Award; the First Cluster Journalism Sports Festival... with the aim of strengthening solidarity among Associations and members and improving the quality of Association activities.

In 2026, the Lam Dong Provincial Journalists Association was selected as the Head of the Emulation Cluster, with the Journalists Associations of Khanh Hoa and Quang Ngai provinces serving as Deputy Heads. Simultaneously, the localities committed to closely coordinating with each other to implement joint activities and achieve the best possible results.

The conference unanimously agreed to propose that the Central Journalists Association consider awarding the Emulation Flag to Lam Dong and Khanh Hoa provinces; and at the same time, awarding Certificates of Merit to Thanh Hoa and Quang Ngai provinces.
