Yen Nguyen commune provides financial assistance to two poor households for house construction.

On December 12th, the People's Committee of Yen Nguyen commune handed over housing construction support funds from the "Housing Construction Support Project for People in Tuyen Quang Province" funded by the Latter-Day Saint Charities (LDSC) of the United States to households with dilapidated houses in the commune.

Leaders of Yen Nguyen commune People's Committee presented financial assistance for house construction to the family of Mr. Ly Van Deng, Deo Chap village.

Two households received housing assistance: Mr. Ly Van Deng's household in Deo Chap village; and Ms. Ha Thi Tue's household in Cay La village. The total funding is 120 million VND. In the first phase of disbursement, each household received 58.8 million VND; the remaining funds will be disbursed after the construction is completed and inspected.

This support helps households repair or rebuild their homes, ensuring long-term housing stability; it also spreads a spirit of compassion, community responsibility, and the partnership of international organizations with the locality. This contributes to helping people feel secure in developing their economy and achieving sustainable poverty reduction.
