On the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 36th anniversary of the National Defense Day, on December 12th, a delegation from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Ba Luc, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, organized a ceremony to offer incense at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Temple; visited the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery and the Memorial Temple of the Heroes and Martyrs of the Vi Xuyen Front at Hill 468; and visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiary families in Tuyen Quang province.

At the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs' Cemetery and the Memorial Temple of the Heroes and Martyrs of the Vi Xuyen Front at Hill 468, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegation from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense laid flowers, offered incense, and observed a moment of silence to express their profound gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap, and the heroic martyrs—the outstanding sons and daughters of the nation who bravely fought and heroically sacrificed themselves for the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland.

Before the spirits of the heroic martyrs, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ba Luc and the delegation pledged to unite wholeheartedly, remain absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people; and resolutely fulfill all assigned tasks excellently, contributing to building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Vietnamese People's Army, and contributing to building and firmly defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam in the new era.

Visiting and presenting gifts to families of wounded and sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs, on behalf of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the leadership of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ba Luc extended greetings and best wishes for good health to the families of wounded and sick soldiers, and expressed deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Ba Luc requested that Military Region 2 and the Tuyen Quang Provincial Military Command continue to do a good job in policy work, promptly paying attention to and encouraging wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and families with meritorious contributions to the revolution, so that they can feel secure in production, develop the economy , and contribute to poverty reduction.

Representatives of policy beneficiary families expressed their sincere gratitude for the valuable sentiments of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and Military Region 2 in caring for policy beneficiary families and families in difficult circumstances; they also affirmed that they will continue to strive to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, and local regulations well, setting an example for their children and grandchildren to learn from and follow, contributing to building an increasingly prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland.

On this occasion, the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense presented 30 gifts to policy beneficiary families in the province; in addition, the Party Committee and the Command of Military Region 2 also presented 30 gifts to policy beneficiary families in Tuyen Quang province.
