At the conference, delegates provided feedback on draft documents for the 2025 Party and political work review conference and draft documents for the 2025 General Political Department's task review conference.

According to reports from relevant authorities, the preparation of documents was carried out systematically and meticulously, with numerous consultations, revisions, and improvements; in particular, the draft Report summarizing Party and political work in 2025 was developed based on a compilation of reports from agencies and units throughout the army, with added content on scientific development, innovation, and digital transformation.

In addition, the agencies reviewed the progress of the Party and political work plan for 2025, and developed the plan for 2026 with a focus on streamlining the scope, reducing the number of conferences, increasing the proportion of online events, and ensuring practicality, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.

In his concluding remarks, General Nguyen Trong Nghia requested that the agencies continue to refine the drafts, ensuring they are concise, easy to understand, clearly state the objectives and solutions, and guarantee feasibility, consistency, and uniformity with higher-level regulations. General Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized the need to ensure proper authority, format, and presentation techniques; and to strengthen the standardization and unification of presentation templates for documents and materials.

The Head of the General Political Department emphasized the need to innovate working methods and organize conferences in a practical and effective manner; to limit conferences unless absolutely necessary and when detailed guidelines are already in place; and to thoroughly implement austerity measures and combat waste. He also requested a reform in conference management, focusing on discussion rather than verbatim presentations of documents; concise and focused speeches; and increased use of online conferences in line with work schedules.

Regarding working methods, coordination, application of information technology, and digital transformation, General Nguyen Trong Nghia requested continued simplification and elimination of outdated administrative procedures; decentralization and delegation of authority; assignment of tasks according to the principle of assigning one task to only one point of contact; and adherence to the "6 clear" motto: clear person, clear task, clear time, clear responsibility, clear authority, and clear product. He emphasized the need to accelerate the processing of administrative procedures in the digital environment and digitize documents; and to strengthen training and development in digital skills and leadership and management skills.

Regarding the draft summaries of Party and political work in 2025 and the directions for 2026, General Nguyen Trong Nghia suggested further review and supplementation to clearly reflect the focus and priorities; paying attention to content on ideological management in the new situation, the impact of digital transformation, science and technology, and social media; elevating the level of practical summaries and theoretical research; and simultaneously reviewing and updating new requirements and content related to mass mobilization work, military security protection, internal political protection, and other aspects of work to ensure thoroughness, consistency, and practicality, creating a solid foundation for implementing Party and political work in 2026 with higher quality and effectiveness.
