Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Van Lich emphasized the outstanding achievements of Bac Ninh province in recent years, especially in 2025, implementing the Central Government's policy of reorganizing administrative units and implementing a two-tiered local government model. This is an important task aimed at streamlining the apparatus, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of management, and creating a favorable environment for socio -economic development and strengthening national defense and security.

In this context, as the new model of government becomes increasingly perfected and operates smoothly, placing a statue of President Ho Chi Minh at the headquarters of local government takes on even deeper significance. It symbolizes faith, unity, and determination for reform, providing a spiritual foundation for local officials to fulfill their responsibilities and strive to perform their duties well, serving the needs of the people and businesses. At the same time, it strengthens the close-knit bond between the military and the people, contributing to the education of patriotism and a sense of responsibility in the younger generation...

To enhance the sacred value of President Ho Chi Minh's statue, Major General Nguyen Van Lich suggested that localities select locations for the statues that are solemn and in accordance with regulations. He also urged the promotion of political activities and traditional education linked to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; and the integration of these into regular activities of Party branches and youth organizations.

On behalf of the leaders of Bac Ninh province, Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, expressed sincere gratitude for the attention and support given by the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Command of Military Region 1 to the Party Committee, government, armed forces, and people of Bac Ninh. He emphasized that the portrait statue of President Ho Chi Minh is a sacred gift, a beautiful symbol of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style, and a great source of encouragement for the political system and people of the province, especially during the period when Bac Ninh is undergoing a strong transformation to become a modern industrial province and striving to soon become a centrally-governed city.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that localities promptly select locations for the statues, ensuring solemnity and adherence to regulations; and manage and preserve the statues of President Ho Chi Minh with care, expressing profound gratitude to him. At the same time, they should continue to integrate the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style into Party branch and mass organization activities, making it a regular part of building grassroots government.

Promoting the image of President Ho Chi Minh as a symbol of unity, the will for innovation, and the aspiration for development; linking it with the patriotic emulation movement, building strong and comprehensive communes and wards that are increasingly progressive. Continuing to closely coordinate with Military Region 1 and the Provincial Military Command to maintain national defense and security, creating a stable environment for businesses to develop, so that people can work and produce with peace of mind, contributing to making Bac Ninh a green, modern, and livable industrial center in the new era.
