Ready for the city's youth festival!

Delegates participate in voting at the First Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Party agencies in Hue City, term 2025-2030.

At the end of October, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Phu Bai Ward successfully held its first delegate congress for the 2025-2030 term. This was the first congress of the ward's Youth Union organization after the restructuring of the local government into a two-tier system, carrying significant political importance and marking a new stage of development in the Youth Union's work and youth movements in the area.

With the action slogan "Unity - Pioneering - Courage - Creativity - Development," the Congress identified 11 key targets and two breakthroughs. Accordingly, it will promote digital transformation, innovate the working methods of the Youth Union organization, and build a "green, clean, beautiful, and smart" urban environment while preserving local cultural identity.

As an organization established from its predecessor, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the City's Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, and continuing the force of young cadres, civil servants, and public employees with strong political acumen, a sense of responsibility, and a desire to contribute to rapid and sustainable development, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Party Agencies of Hue City has set the action slogan: "Pioneering - Unity - Courage - Development" for the 2025-2030 term. At the same time, it has set several key targets, such as: 2,500 members participating in volunteer activities; at least 80% of members participating in activities to improve digital skills and the use of science and technology; annually mobilizing social resources to care for and support 600 disadvantaged children…

Ms. Ho Thi Khanh Van, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Party agencies in Hue City, shared: "With a very open-minded and humble attitude, the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement of the city's Party agencies from its establishment to the present has seen positive changes, achieving many important and comprehensive results. This is an opportunity to promote the sense of responsibility, the aspiration to contribute, and the quick adaptability of young cadres, civil servants, and public employees. In the new term, the youth of the city's Party agencies set the goal of continuing to innovate and improve the quality, effectiveness, content, and methods of activities according to a new model, linked to the political tasks and specific characteristics of the city's Party agencies. At the same time, contributing to building a new generation of youth with revolutionary ideals; patriotism; strong character, ambition, good morals; broad knowledge, good physical health, and a rich cultural identity, contributing to building and protecting the Fatherland."

As of early December, 100% of commune and ward Youth Unions and Youth Unions directly under the Hue City Youth Union have completed their congresses for the 2025-2030 term. This has created an important foundation for the 17th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hue City, for the 2025-2030 term, which is expected to take place at the end of December.

According to the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City - Secretary of the City Youth Union Nguyen Thanh Hoai, the congresses were organized synchronously, strongly applying information technology and strictly adhering to the guidelines of the Central Youth Union and the City Youth Union. This result shows the spirit of solidarity and the proactiveness of cadres and union members in the context of rearranging and merging administrative units and operating the two-tiered local government model.

“With the action slogan: ‘Hue City Youth Union: United - Pioneering - Innovative - Developing,’ the 17th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hue City, term 2025-2030, continues to set the goal of innovating working methods, enhancing digital capacity, mastering science and technology for young people, and participating in building Hue City into a distinctive heritage city of Vietnam,” informed Secretary of the City Youth Union Nguyen Thanh Hoai.
