Strengthening solidarity and gathering youth in the whole Pong Drang commune

On the afternoon of October 25, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Pong Drang commune held the 1st Congress of delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Nguyen Duc Linh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Pong Drang commune, along with local leaders, representatives of departments, branches, unions and 120 official delegates, representing nearly 5,000 union members and youth in the whole commune.

In the 2022 - 2025 term, the Youth Union and youth movement of Pong Drang commune have many positive changes, closely following the local political tasks, promoting the pioneering and creative role of youth in socio-economic development and new rural construction.

Activities to support and encourage young people to start and establish businesses are regularly implemented. The volunteer movement for community life and social security continues to maintain its effectiveness, with practical activities such as: "Winter Volunteer" program, "Warm and Loving Tet", "Voluntary Blood Donation Festival"...

In addition, the movement “Youth of Pong Drang join hands to build new countryside” has also been actively implemented, bringing practical results. The Youth Union of Pong Drang commune regularly organizes environmental sanitation campaigns, eliminates garbage sites, builds youth projects, contributes to beautifying the rural landscape and raising awareness of environmental protection in the community.

The Congress discussed and unanimously approved a number of key tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term, focusing on innovating the content and methods of political and ideological education ; strongly applying digital transformation in Youth Union work; effectively organizing the "5 pioneers" movements; strengthening solidarity and gathering youth in the whole society...

Delegates participating in the 1st Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Pong Drang commune, term 2025 - 2030, introduced themselves at the congress.

The Congress also set out many specific targets: Every year, the Commune Youth Union will eliminate at least one black spot of environmental pollution, implement one youth project to support people's infrastructure in villages; introduce 50-100 union members and young people to learn a trade and have stable jobs; admit 350 new union members, raising the youth participation rate to 80% or more...

The Congress announced the Decisions appointing the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Pong Drang commune for the first term, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 25 comrades; the Standing Committee has 7 comrades. Comrade Vu Van Hung was appointed as Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Pong Drang commune for the term 2025 - 2030.
