On December 13th, a delegation from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province, led by the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province, visited and extended Christmas greetings to the Roman Catholic parish (Hung Nhượng commune).

The delegation visited and congratulated Father Paul Le Thanh Dung - Dean of the Ben Tre Deanery, Head of the Roman Catholic Parish; and Father Peter Tran Van Kich - former Chairman of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee, retired at the Roman Catholic Parish in Hung Nhượng commune.
The activity aims to strengthen the close relationship between the Fatherland Front Committee and religious leaders, officials, and Catholic and Protestant communities on the occasion of Christmas; contributing to consolidating national unity and creating social consensus. Through this, it encourages and motivates people of all religions to continue to uphold the spirit of "living a good life and practicing good faith," actively contributing to the overall development of the locality.
On this occasion, the delegation also attended and congratulated Bishop Peter Huynh Van Hai of the Vinh Long Diocese on the 10th anniversary of his episcopal ordination.
