On the morning of December 14th, the Hai Phong City Union of Literature and Arts Associations held the opening ceremony of the 2025 Literature and Arts Creative Camp with the theme "Cultural Figure Trạng Trình Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm".
This year's writing camp is organized in accordance with the UNESCO Campaign Committee's plan to implement tasks serving the construction of a scientific dossier to propose that UNESCO honor Trạng Trình Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm on the 450th anniversary of his death (1585 - 2035).
In his opening remarks at the writing camp, the leader of the City's Union of Literature and Arts expressed his hope that the artists, with their professional responsibility and passion for creativity, would produce many high-quality works, making practical contributions to honoring Trạng Trình Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm - a great cultural figure of Vietnam, and aiming for UNESCO's inscription in the near future.
The creative writing camp took place from December 14th to December 19th, with the participation of 30 artists from various disciplines of the Hai Phong Union of Literature and Arts.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the organizing committee and campers went on a field trip to study the historical and cultural site of the Trạng Trình Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm Temple. In the following days, campers focused on creating and completing their works. The deadline for submitting works was the afternoon of December 19th.
The literary and artistic creation camp is an important annual activity that provides opportunities for artists and writers to gain practical experience, immerse themselves in life, and inspire creativity, thereby producing works of ideological and artistic value that vividly reflect the construction and development of the homeland and the country.
