Exhibition showcasing the country's economic and social achievements after 40 years of reform.

7 khu trưng bày tại Triển lãm Thành tựu kinh tế, xã hội của đất nước sau 40 năm đổi mới - Ảnh 2. — The National Achievements Exhibition, themed “80 Years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness,” is being held at the Vietnam Exhibition and Convention Center (VEC) in Hanoi .

This is an activity with profound socio -political significance, aiming to comprehensively, visually, and vividly portray the outstanding achievements of the country after four decades of reform, with a focus on the strong development period of 2021-2025.

The exhibition will be held over two days, from December 26th to 27th, 2025, at the National Convention Center (Hanoi). The event takes place within the framework of the 11th National Emulation Congress in 2025, contributing to a visual highlight for the Congress, while also commending and honoring heroic collectives and individuals, national emulation fighters, advanced models, and exemplary models in the patriotic emulation movement in all fields, especially key areas such as national defense and security, science and technology, and culture and society .

Beyond simply summarizing and showcasing achievements, the Exhibition also aims to strongly encourage the patriotic emulation movement, inspire solidarity, innovation, and creativity, improve labor productivity and work efficiency, thereby contributing to the successful implementation of the country's socio-economic development goals and the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

According to the plan, the exhibition will include 7 typical display sections, comprehensively reflecting the country's development after 40 years of reform.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and delegates visit the Exhibition of Scientific and Technological Achievements, Innovation and Digital Transformation at the National Convention Center (Hanoi).

The first section is the exhibition area of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, built on the principle of "Culture as the foundation." The exhibition showcases the outstanding achievements of the culture, sports, and tourism sector over the past 40 years of reform and development, in areas such as cultural heritage, grassroots culture, family and libraries, ethnic culture, cinema, sports, tourism, fine arts – photography – exhibitions, journalism – media, publishing – printing – distribution, as well as foreign affairs and international cultural integration. The content is presented through images, documents, and artifacts combined with projections and digital technology applications, implemented by the Vietnam Cultural and Arts Exhibition Center.

The second section is the Ministry of National Defence exhibition, focusing on promoting and showcasing the outstanding achievements of the Vietnam People's Army in the cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland. The exhibition reflects the process of building a proactive, self-reliant, self-strengthening, dual-use, and modern defense industry; and clarifies the close integration between economic development and national defense consolidation, and between national defense and the economy. Images, videos, graphic clips, along with typical products, artifacts, projects, and models created by the General Department of Defence Industry, provide a comprehensive view of national defense strength in the đổi mới (renovation) period.

The third section features an exhibition by the Ministry of Finance themed "Achievements of the Finance Sector after 40 Years of Reform". Through a system of photographs, slideshows, and illustrative charts, the exhibition summarizes the significant progress of the finance sector in budget management, public finance, budget revenue and expenditure, financial reform, and international integration, reflecting the pivotal role of finance in macroeconomic stability and sustainable national development.

The fourth section features an exhibition by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, themed "Vietnamese Agriculture and Environment - Upholding Tradition, Building a Green Future." The exhibition highlights achievements in the development of modern, green, and sustainable agriculture, linked to environmental protection, climate change adaptation, and increasing the added value of Vietnamese agricultural products. The content, implemented by the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center, clearly demonstrates the direction of harmonious development between the economy and the environment in the new era.

The fifth section is the exhibition area of the Ministry of Science and Technology, focusing on showcasing achievements in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation over the past 40 years of reform, with a particular emphasis on outstanding results in the last 5 years. Through products, models, solutions, and visual data, the exhibition area reflects the increasingly important role of science and technology and innovation in enhancing national competitiveness and promoting socio-economic development.

The sixth section features the Vietnam News Agency's exhibition, with a thematic photo exhibition titled "President Ho Chi Minh and the Patriotic Emulation Movement." The photographs vividly reflect President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts and concern for the patriotic emulation movement; they also showcase the National Emulation Congresses and typical emulation movements throughout history, thereby affirming the enduring value of patriotic emulation in the cause of national construction and defense.

The seventh section features exhibitions of representative businesses, including TH Group, ThaiBinh Seed Group, and BRG Group. Here, businesses showcase their signature products, demonstrating the role of the business sector in the process of innovation and integration. TH Group displays dairy products; ThaiBinh Seed introduces rice products; and BRG Group presents many representative products such as Chu Dau ceramics, ST25 Hapro Dong Thap rice, SeABank banking services, and golf sports. Businesses design and construct their own booths according to the allocated space, based on agreements with the Organizing Committee.

In terms of presentation, the exhibition is organized in an open space, harmoniously combining photographs, artifacts, models, documentary films, graphics, and digital technology. A system of panels, stands, pedestals, display shelves, screens, and infographic boards are used to illustrate data and achievements in a vivid and modern way. The exhibition space is arranged uniformly in terms of lighting, color, and aesthetics, ensuring harmony with the overall space of the Congress.

With 7 key exhibits, the Exhibition of Economic and Social Achievements of the Country after 40 Years of Renovation is not only a summary of the past development journey, but also a source of inspiration to promote the spirit of emulation, innovation, and the aspiration for national development in the new era.
