Quang Ninh: A series of spectacular cultural events to be held at the end of 2025.

According to Ms. Thuy, the focus of the series of cultural events is the Ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex as a World Cultural Heritage (taking place at 8:00 p.m. on December 22), combined with the Yen Tu Festival "Heritage Journey - World Quintessence".

These outstanding activities took place from December 18 to 22 at Yen Tu relic and scenic area to honor the outstanding global value of Truc Lam Zen sect, pay tribute to Buddhist Emperor Tran Nhan Tong and contribute to spreading the noble humanistic values of the heritage.

Specifically, the activities include: Exhibition of achievements of the thousand-year heritage "Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac"; Exhibition displaying artifacts, documents, images, 3D models of Truc Lam Zen sect and relics of three provinces, emphasizing the outstanding global value of the heritage, taking place at Khai Tam Boat Mirror.

Quang Ninh province has successfully organized many major cultural events such as the Mining Region 2025 concert, attracting over 50,000 attendees.

Trade Fair - OCOP and Food Festival with 80 booths, displaying and introducing OCOP products, agricultural products and typical cuisine of Quang Ninh, Hai Phong and Bac Ninh, taking place at Yen Tu Village.

Art exchange activities, folk games, journey through three heritage regions, performances of intangible cultural heritage, folk arts and organization of traditional games such as tug of war, stick pushing, throwing con..., took place at Minh Tam Square and Truc Lam Cultural Palace and Yen Tu Village.

Along with that is the Heritage Film Week at Dien Hong Convention Center, introducing cinematographic works and documentaries on revolutionary, historical, cultural themes, honoring heroes and the Tran Dynasty. These activities are expected to attract tens of thousands of visitors.

Fireworks display at night is one of the tourism stimulus activities, also enhanced by Quang Ninh at the end of the year.

Next is the Extra Special Night Music Festival and Experience Program held on December 21, at Sun Carnival Square, Bai Chay Ward. The highlight is the music night with the appearance of top Vpop stars. The program is expected to attract about 10,000 free participants, creating a civilized and vibrant festival atmosphere on the shores of Ha Long Bay.

In particular, the Countdown Art Show to welcome the new year 2026, taking place on the night of December 31 at October 30 Square, Ha Long Ward, is expected to attract about 50,000 participants. The event is associated with the 80th anniversary of the first General Election, affirming the pride in the revolutionary tradition of the heroic mining region.

Completing the economic and cultural picture in December is the 17th Vietnam-China International Trade and Tourism Fair in 2025. This is an important economic event to promote trade, develop tourism and bilateral trade, held in Mong Cai 1 ward, from December 11 to 15.

The series of large-scale and diverse activities at the end of the year is a solid step of Quang Ninh in the strategy of developing cultural industry associated with sustainable tourism, affirming the brand of a "heritage land" that is dynamic, integrated and ready to reach new heights in the new era, contributing to realizing the goal of becoming a regional cultural and artistic center.
