Vo Thi My Tien qualified for the final of the women's 200m butterfly. Tran Van Nguyen Quoc and Luong Loic Nino advanced to the final of the men's 100m freestyle.
Thúy Hiền advanced to the final of the women's 50m breaststroke. She is a very promising young athlete for Vietnamese swimming and could become the next Ánh Viên in the near future. Meanwhile, Cao Văn Dũng advanced to the final of the men's 100m backstroke.
The swimming finals will begin at 6 PM this evening. The Vietnamese swimming team is hoping for a gold medal from Tran Hung Nguyen in the men's 200m individual medley.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Thuy Hien and Luong Loic Nino could spring surprises in the women's 50m breaststroke and men's 100m freestyle events, respectively. At the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnamese swimming team aims to win six or more gold medals.
