The first-instance trial of defendant Le Trung Khoa will take place on December 31st.

On December 10th, the Hanoi People's Court issued a decision stating that on December 31st, the trial of defendant Le Trung Khoa (born in 1971 in Thanh Hoa province; Vietnamese nationality; permanent residence before emigration at No. 1, Alley 81, Lang Street, Dong Da Ward, Hanoi City, formerly No. 24, Alley 55, Lang Street, Dong Da District, Hanoi City; currently residing in the Federal Republic of Germany) and three other defendants prosecuted by the Supreme People's Procuracy for the same crime of "Making, possessing, disseminating, and propagating information and documents aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" as stipulated in Article 117 of the Penal Code.

The three other defendants in this case are: Do Van Nga (born in 1977 in Gia Lai province; Vietnamese nationality; previous permanent residence before emigration at Hamlet 7, Xuan Phuong village, Tuy Phuoc commune, Gia Lai province; current residence in Thailand), Huynh Bao Duc (born in 1984 in Ho Chi Minh City; Vietnamese nationality; permanent residence and current residence at 286/38 Tran Hung Dao Street, Cau Ong Lanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) and Pham Quang Thien (born in 1978 in Hung Yen; Vietnamese nationality; permanent residence at Room 205 G4, Alley 32A, Hao Nam Street, O Cho Dua Ward, Hanoi; current residence at No. 5, Alley 127, An Trach Street, O Cho Dua Ward, Hanoi). All three defendants are currently being held in temporary detention at B14 Detention Center, Ministry of Public Security .

The first instance trial began at 8:30 a.m. on December 31, 2025, at the Trial Area, headquarters of the Hanoi People's Court.

Of the four defendants in this case, defendant Le Trung Khoa (ID card number 011457540 issued by the Hanoi City Police) is wanted by the Security Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security since December 5, 2025. The Hanoi City People's Court calls on defendant Le Trung Khoa to surrender and appear at the trial to exercise his right to self-defense as prescribed by law.
