The Party Committee of Vietnam Maritime Corporation thoroughly understands and implements the Resolution of the First Congress of the Party Committee of the Government.

On December 10, 2025, the Party Committee of the Government held a combined in-person and online conference to study, understand, disseminate, and implement the Resolution of the First Congress of the Party Committee of the Government, term 2025-2030. Member of the Politburo, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Government, and Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh attended and chaired the conference.

Attending the conference at the Government Office's location were members of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee, and leaders of the Government; members of the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Government Party Committee, representatives of central Party committees, members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Government Office, leaders of agencies advising the Government, and members of the Inspection Committee.

Attending the conference at the Vietnam Maritime Corporation Party Committee's headquarters were Comrade Nguyen Canh Tinh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors; Comrade Le Anh Son, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Director; Comrade Doan Thi Thu Huong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; along with members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, members of the Executive Committee, Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of grassroots Party Committees and Branches, and leaders of the Party Committee's advisory departments. Subordinate grassroots Party Committees and Branches also participated online from various locations across the country.

At the Conference, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized the core contents, key tasks, and breakthrough solutions of the Resolution of the First Congress of the Party Committee of the Government, term 2025-2030, and the core contents of the guiding speech by General Secretary To Lam.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized that the First Congress of the Party Committee of the Government, for the term 2025-2030, has set the following direction for the term: To enhance the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee of the Government and its affiliated Party organizations; to create a clear transformation in Party building work in politics, ideology, ethics, organization, and personnel. To focus on leading and directing the building of an honest, proactive, and development-oriented government, determined to achieve breakthroughs and successfully realize the goal of developing a strong, prosperous, civilized, and happy country. To realize the leadership and guidance viewpoints of the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat; to be self-reliant, confident, and to advance strongly in the new era.

The overall goal set by the First Congress of the Party Committee of the Government, term 2025-2030, is: To maintain a peaceful and stable environment; to develop a dynamic, rapid, and sustainable economy; and to strive to become a developing country with modern industry, high middle income, and a GDP size among the top 30 economies in the world by 2030, rising to third place in ASEAN.

Economic growth during the 2026-2030 period will reach a high rate, ensuring major balances. The governance system will be modern, competitive, effective, and efficient; the basic infrastructure network will be synchronized and modern; human resources will be comprehensively developed; and the level of science, technology, and innovation will be among the leading countries in the upper-middle income sector. The living standards of the people will be improved.

Strengthening the building and rectification of a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style; combating and preventing the decline in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle, as well as "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party; protecting the Party's ideological foundation and actively refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints; upholding the exemplary responsibility of cadres and Party members, especially leaders, in building a clean and strong Party Committee within the Government.

Regarding the keynote address by General Secretary To Lam, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh stated that the General Secretary acknowledged the thorough and meticulous preparation for the Congress, ensuring quality and progress in accordance with Directive 45-CT/TW of the Politburo. The draft documents closely adhered to the major viewpoints and orientations outlined in the draft documents of the 14th Party Congress, as well as the resolutions, conclusions, and directives of the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat, and were relevant to the practical situation of the Party Committee of the Government.

The General Secretary also highly appreciated the open-minded and frank spirit of "looking straight at the truth, assessing the truth correctly, and speaking the truth clearly" regarding the shortcomings and limitations mentioned in the report of the Party Committee of the Government. He also requested that the Congress frankly discuss and clearly analyze the causes of these shortcomings and limitations, especially the subjective causes, in order to find fundamental and strategic solutions to overcome them and improve the effectiveness of the Party Committee of the Government and the Government in the next term.

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh emphasized: The Party Committee of the Government requests all cadres and Party members throughout the Party organization to continuously strive, unite, work together, be proactive and innovative, and fulfill the political tasks and Party building work of the Government Party organization. Each cadre and Party member needs to uphold a high sense of responsibility and be exemplary in their understanding and actions; proactively research and creatively apply the goals, tasks, and solutions of the Resolution to their advisory, leadership, and operational work.

Party committees, party organizations, agencies, and units must develop specific action programs and plans, clearly assigning responsibilities, tasks, and deadlines; regularly inspect and supervise, promptly commend outstanding collectives and individuals, while seriously criticizing and dealing with those who work carelessly or superficially; and act decisively to ensure the Resolution is implemented promptly, contributing to the successful fulfillment of the political tasks of the Government and the Party Committee in the new term.
