Phu Dien Ward People's Council passed 6 key Resolutions on socio-economic development

HNP - On December 9th, the People's Council of Phu Dien Ward, term 2026-2031, held its 6th session (regular session) to review the socio-economic situation, national security and defense, and budget revenue and expenditure for 2025; to decide on key objectives and tasks for 2025; and to discuss and approve several issues within the People's Council's authority.

Speaking at the session, Nguyen Le Hoang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Phu Dien Ward, emphasized that this was the year-end session of the Ward People's Council, a significant event that served as a time to evaluate the results of implementing many major, important, and revolutionary tasks of the Capital and the country.

Besides fulfilling the tasks of economic and social development and ensuring national security and defense in the area, the session also focused on implementing the major policy of the Party and State on reforming the organizational structure of the political system to ensure it is "lean, strong, efficient, effective, and effective". Through decisive, systematic, and democratic implementation, the reorganization of the Party, government, and Fatherland Front organizations in Phu Dien ward, in accordance with Resolution No. 1656 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, has been completed and put into operation, ensuring tight control, effectiveness, and maintaining the normal functioning of social life.

With the consensus of the entire political system and the efforts of agencies, units, businesses, and all the people, Phu Dien ward has overcome difficulties and challenges and achieved positive and outstanding results.

The year-end session of the People's Council is an opportunity to assess the implementation of economic , social, national security and defense tasks and other aspects of work in the first six months of 2025, and to identify the main tasks and solutions that need to be focused on in the last six months of 2025, especially given that the new two-tier local government apparatus will be operational from July 1, 2025.

At this session, the People's Council will consider and decide on six important issues. These include: the People's Council of the ward reviewing and evaluating the implementation of socio-economic and national defense tasks in 2025; deciding on key socio-economic and national defense tasks for 2026; considering the Resolution on the public investment plan for 2026; and considering the Resolution on the ward's budget estimate and the budget allocation plan for 2026. The People's Council will also consider the Resolution on the results of the thematic supervision of the allocation of administrative civil servant positions and the number of employees receiving salaries from the state budget in public service units.

Besides considering the Resolution on the allocation of staffing quotas and labor contract targets according to Decree 111/2022/ND-CP and the number of non-professional personnel at administrative agencies and public service units under the People's Committee of Phu Dien Ward in 2026, the People's Council will also hold a question-and-answer session and consider the Resolution on answering questions at the session and responding to voters' recommendations before the end-of-year session of the People's Council of Phu Dien Ward, term 2021-2026, in 2025.

With a spirit of active, innovative, democratic, responsible, and highly determined work, the 6th (regular) session of the Phu Dien Ward People's Council, term I, at the end of 2025, successfully completed all the planned agenda items. At this session, the People's Council reaffirmed the efforts and achievements of the government and people of Phu Dien Ward during the last six months of 2025. At the same time, the People's Council frankly acknowledged, thoroughly analyzed, and evaluated the strengths, weaknesses, and causes in the process of directing and organizing the implementation of tasks. In the spirit of promoting democracy and pooling collective intelligence, the People's Council focused on discussing and evaluating the implementation situation, and unanimously adopted six resolutions.

With the desire that each resolution, once issued, is highly feasible, meets the will and aspirations of the people, and fulfills the development requirements of the ward, after the session, the People's Council requests the Ward People's Committee and relevant departments to proactively develop plans and concretize the People's Council's resolutions into specific programs, plans, and projects for effective implementation. The Ward People's Council requests that the committees, delegate groups, and individual People's Council representatives report to the voters on the results of the 6th session of the Ward People's Council; strengthen coordination to organize the implementation of the resolution, including promoting activities to monitor compliance with the law and the implementation of the People's Council's resolutions in a practical, effective, and focused manner.
