The event was attended by leaders of the Vietnam Women's Union, the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department, Google Corporation, and representatives from several ministries, departments, and international organizations, along with a large number of female officials, members, and students in Hanoi .

Information from the launch event indicates that digitalization is rapidly taking place in Vietnam. If women's awareness is not raised, the gender gap and forms of gender-based violence will continue to shift from real life to the digital world in more subtle, harder-to-identify ways, with more unpredictable consequences.
In this context, the communication campaign to raise women's awareness of online safety, themed "Connecting with 3 Safeties - Mastering the Digital Space," includes: "safety, peace of mind, and well-being."
In this context, "safety" means that every woman and girl is an informed and responsible internet user, protecting herself while contributing to building a healthy and safe environment; "peace of mind" means that the online space becomes a friendly and humane environment for women and girls; and "well-being" means transforming the digital space into opportunities and leverage for women's entrepreneurial ideas, businesses, and sustainable livelihoods.
The communication campaign will include a standardized, diverse, easy-to-understand, and easy-to-apply "Digital Literacy for the People" materials; training courses on digital skills and information security; a series of mini-games; and creative communication products on technology platforms. Through these, the campaign aims to spread various messages to raise community awareness and promote action by women in mastering the digital space, while also calling for increased inter-sectoral coordination in building a safe, equitable, and inclusive online environment.
