The railway industry will transport 1 million bricks free of charge to support housing construction in central Vietnam.

These bricks are part of a plan to transport 1 million bricks free of charge, contributing to accelerating the implementation of the "Quang Trung Campaign" to rebuild homes for people who lost their homes in the recent floods in Central Vietnam.

The remaining bricks out of a total of 1 million will continue to be transported on subsequent trains. Currently, railway units are coordinating closely with local receiving units to ensure that all materials are delivered to the right place at the right time, effectively serving the construction and repair of houses for the people.

Previously, Vietnam Railways Corporation organized the free transportation of more than 31,000 packages (equivalent to 500 tons) including food, emergency relief supplies, clothing, books, etc., sent by charitable organizations and localities to people in Central Vietnam.
