According to information from the Con Co Border Guard Station, the unit successfully coordinated the rescue of 6 fishermen who were in distress at sea on the afternoon of December 15th.

At 1:20 PM on the same day, Mr. Bui Dinh Cam (born in 1963, residing in Ward 5, Cua Viet Commune, Quang Tri Province), captain of fishing vessel QT-90559-TS, reported an emergency that his vessel had sunk due to large waves while fishing, approximately 3 nautical miles northeast of Con Co Special Economic Zone. There were 6 crew members on board, all of whom fell into the sea.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Con Co Border Guard Station promptly prepared forces and equipment for rescue operations; at the same time, they notified fishing vessels operating in the area to coordinate search and rescue efforts, and reported to the Provincial Border Guard Command and local authorities for handling according to regulations.

Through the fishing activity monitoring and communication system, the vessel QT-91090-TS, captained by Mr. Bui Van Linh (born in 1982, residing in Ward 5, Cua Viet Commune), which was operating near the area, promptly approached and rescued all 6 fishermen, bringing them safely aboard.
At approximately 3 PM on the same day, the vessel QT-91090-TS brought the crew members into the port. The Con Co Border Guard Station coordinated the disembarkation of the fishermen, organized health check-ups, provided moral support, and gave cash assistance to the fishermen in distress.
