On the morning of December 10th, information from Squadron 102 (under the Command of Coast Guard Region 1) indicated that seven fishermen from the fishing vessel NA 98xx TS, which sank at sea, had been found and rescued.
The health of the crew members is generally stable. Currently, authorities are continuing to coordinate with fishermen in efforts to search for the one fisherman who is still missing at sea.
According to initial information, on the afternoon of December 9, the fishing boat NA 98xx TS with a capacity of about 1,000 horsepower, captained by fisherman Ho SH (born in 1991, residing in Tan Mai ward, Nghe An province), while exploiting seafood at sea, was suddenly sunk by big waves and strong winds about 50 nautical miles East Northeast of Vung Ang port ( Ha Tinh province).

Immediately after receiving the information, the Coast Guard Region 1 Command dispatched Coast Guard ship 3005 (Flotilla 102) along with officers and soldiers on patrol and control duty in the Vung Ang sea area to quickly approach the scene. At the same time, the unit coordinated with functional forces and fishing boats operating near the area to search and rescue.

By late afternoon of the same day, the seven fishermen from fishing vessel NA 98xx TS were rescued by fishing vessel NA 93xx TS, captained by Mr. Nguyen Thai Son (residing in Nghe An province), which was operating near the area where they were spotted. The rescue vessel safely brought the seven fishermen aboard.
