The incident wasn't new, but the appearance of singer N.Đ.C. (stage name Đ.V.) – who had been closely involved in many of the project's activities – quickly brought the story to the forefront. He frequently shared information about the program and also affirmed that his trips to the highlands with "Nuôi Em" (Raising Children) inspired him to compose a song, which was used as the theme song for the project. According to the singer, the profits from the song were also donated back to charitable activities.
The music, visuals, and the influence of a famous artist helped "Nuoi Em" (Raise Her) gain wider recognition, attracting community support. As a result, many people automatically viewed singer C. as an "ambassador" for the project. However, when questions regarding financial transparency arose, the singer spoke out on his personal page, stating that he was merely an individual participating with a charitable heart, not representing or belonging to the project's management board.
Whether it's right or wrong remains to be seen, awaiting official answers from the relevant parties, and possibly even conclusions from authorities if necessary. However, this story once again brings to mind the old sadness of artists unintentionally or intentionally putting their own fame in a difficult position. "Nuoi Em" (Raising Her) may still operate, and there may still be contributions, but its reach will certainly not be the same as when a famous artist is involved, inspiring others through music and visuals.
Therefore, an artist's responsibility is not only to themselves, but also to their fan community and society. Unfortunately, in many cases, things are only "clarified" after a crisis has occurred. When trust is already in question, belated explanations are unlikely to retain their original value. If only the roles had been clearly defined from the beginning: what capacity the artist was involved in, and whether they were involved in financial management, perhaps the public would not have fallen into a state of "misunderstanding."
The "Raising Children" case will eventually conclude with specific and transparent findings. But the lessons are not just for artists. Any individual with a heart for the community deserves respect. However, a good heart does not equate to a lack of a clear legal framework. Charity is a matter of the heart, but managing and operating resources is a matter of responsibility and the law. And when risks arise, the greatest damage is to public trust in genuine charitable activities.
