On December 8, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Luu, Head of Traffic Department No. 3 (Ha Tinh Traffic Construction and Management Joint Stock Company) said that after more than 1 month of focusing on overcoming the situation, the entire volume of landslide rock and soil was removed from the scene, initially opening the Ha Tinh coastal road at Km84+700, the section passing through Ky Xuan commune.

Currently, vehicles can move through this area normally. The unit continues to maintain guards, traffic control, and put up more signs warning of landslide risks so that people can proactively take precautions. At the same time, arrange for people to collect and clean up mud and dirt to ensure environmental hygiene.

Also according to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Luu, in the long term, to completely overcome the landslide situation, it is necessary to continue clearing rocks and soil, especially orphaned rocks from high mountain slopes, building a solid concrete embankment about 50m long on the positive slope, or assembling rock cages...
However, we are still waiting for the authorities of Ha Tinh province to inspect and approve the specific plan and investment funding source.

As reported by SGGP Newspaper, from late October to early November 2025, due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, tens of thousands of cubic meters of rock and soil collapsed, completely burying the Ha Tinh coastal road at Km84+700.

On the afternoon of November 4, while construction units were repairing landslides, many blocks of earth and rock continued to slide, causing excavators and trucks to fall, seriously injuring two people who had to be hospitalized.

After the incident, the Department of Construction of Ha Tinh province stopped repair activities, closed the road and diverted North-South traffic to another route.
