Emulation cluster No. 2 organized 36 social criticism conferences

On the afternoon of December 8, Emulation Cluster No. 2 of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city held a conference to evaluate, review emulation, summarize activities in 2025, and directions and tasks for 2026.

Emulation cluster No. 2 includes 11 wards: Hai Ba Trung, Bach Mai, Vinh Tuy (old Hai Ba Trung district), Hoang Mai, Vinh Hung, Tuong Mai, Hoang Liet, Yen So, Linh Nam, Dinh Cong (old Hoang Mai district), Thanh Liet (old Thanh Tri district). Hai Ba Trung ward is the cluster leader, Hoang Mai ward is the deputy cluster leader.

In 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the wards in the cluster chaired and coordinated with the Ward People's Committees to mobilize and receive support from the "For the Poor" Fund with a total amount of 7.18 billion VND. From the fund and socialization, the wards supported the construction of a Great Unity house worth nearly 87 million VND; and presented 1,238 gifts with a total value of more than 885 million VND to extremely disadvantaged households.

Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, units in the cluster mobilized to support people in provinces affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11 with an amount of 1.63 billion VND sent directly to the City Relief Fund.

Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Hanoi City, the wards have mobilized resources to support people in the Central and Central Highlands provinces affected by floods with a total amount of 12.9 billion VND up to December 5, 2025...

Propaganda work continues to be innovated when 100% of the ward Fatherland Front Committees effectively use Fanpage to disseminate policies and guidelines, grasp people's thoughts and fight against and refute bad and toxic information. Wards also pilot independent assessment of the commune-level social trust index under the guidance of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.

During the year, Emulation Cluster No. 2 organized 36 social criticism conferences, contributing ideas to the development of socio -economic development reports, national defense and security, and draft documents of local authorities, with 275 comments. Representatives of wards participated in criticizing many major policies of the city chaired by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city Pham Anh Tuan emphasized that although the operation time of the commune-level Fatherland Front after the merger is only more than 5 months, the units have made great efforts to complete the assigned tasks.

Regarding the future direction, comrade Pham Anh Tuan suggested that Emulation Cluster No. 2 continue to launch and organize emulation movements well, ensuring that emulation is closely linked to the political tasks of each locality. Emulation work must directly serve the task of socio-economic development and the requirements of the grassroots.

At the same time, innovate the content and methods of emulation in implementing social security tasks and the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; improve the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism; correctly select the contents that people are interested in, are still concerned and frustrated with to propose solutions.

Comrade Pham Anh Tuan also requested that the Fatherland Front at all levels should closely follow the key tasks that the city is focusing on directing, especially the preparation for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. In particular, the Fatherland Front needs to organize consultative conferences well, fully implement the steps prescribed by law; at the same time, promote its role in propagating and mobilizing people to participate in site clearance for key projects of the city.

At the conference, delegates reviewed the emulation titles and forms of rewards in 2025; and nominated the Head and Deputy Head of Emulation Cluster No. 2 in 2026.
