The embankment corridor needs to be restored to its unobstructed state.

The project to build an embankment to prevent landslides, combat saltwater intrusion, and respond to climate change along the Cai Son canal, specifically the section passing through Binh Pho B area in Long Tuyen ward, has been in use for over two years. Local residents are delighted because landslides have been eliminated, providing a place for walking, exercising, and children to play along the embankment. However, for several months now, some sections of the embankment's walkway have been encroached upon, used for drying firewood, placing household items, potted plants, and trees (pictured), obstructing the path and detracting from the urban aesthetics. In the long term, this will affect the foundation structure and the structure's ability to prevent landslides.

We request that the local authorities promptly inspect and rectify the situation to restore the embankment's corridor, ensure urban aesthetics, maximize the effectiveness of the landslide prevention project, and create a public space for the local residents.
