
According to Colonel Huynh Ngoc Liem, Deputy Director of the Lam Dong Provincial Police, this is an opportunity for technical staff to hone their skills in handling real-world situations and improve their ability to coordinate and respond to incidents in the context of increasingly sophisticated and unpredictable cyberattacks.
Following the opening ceremony, 19 defense teams officially began the competition. The teams had to both detect and patch vulnerabilities, defend their systems, and handle a series of complex cyberattack scenarios.

"Agencies and units view this as an important opportunity to review vulnerabilities, strengthen systems, improve operational procedures, and enhance a sense of responsibility in protecting data and the cybersecurity sovereignty of Lam Dong province," said Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province.
The program also involved members of the Lam Dong Provincial Network Security Incident Response Team; specialized officers from the Provincial Police; lecturers and students from Da Lat University, Yersin University of Da Lat, and Phan Thiet University; officers in charge of information technology from the Provincial Military Command; departments, agencies, and 124 communes, wards, and special zones.
