
Accordingly, organizations and individuals involved in waste treatment, landscape construction, and rural environmental protection within the city will be eligible for preferential policies.
Specifically, organizations and individuals engaged in livestock waste treatment activities as stipulated in Article 10 of Decree 106/2024 will receive support of no more than 50% of the value of livestock waste treatment products to encourage their application. The maximum support level is 5 million VND/establishment (household livestock farming), 50 million VND/establishment (small and medium-sized farms), and 100 million VND/establishment (large-scale farms).
Organizations and individuals engaged in landscape construction activities will receive financial support for planting scattered trees to increase green areas, create landscapes, and protect the environment, in accordance with Article 23 of Decree No. 58/2024. The average support level is 15 million VND/hectare for planting scattered trees.
In addition, Ho Chi Minh City also supports organizations and individuals engaged in activities such as treating aquaculture waste, processing crop by-products, and promoting rural environmental protection.
Funding for implementation is allocated in the annual budget estimates of the city, commune, ward, and special administrative region, according to the balancing capacity of each level of government and in accordance with the law on state budget. The allocation and use of funds for support programs must comply with current regulations, be consistent with the budget balancing capacity, and reflect the actual situation of the locality.
