The company's employees participated in voluntary blood donation.
In the vibrant atmosphere celebrating the 71st anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnamese Electricity Industry (December 21, 1954 - December 21, 2025), and in response to the Vietnam Electricity Group's Customer Appreciation Month 2025 with the theme "Continuing to join hands to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, accompanying customers in using electricity safely and stably", Can Tho Thermal Power Company has implemented many activities, most notably the humanitarian blood donation program during the 11th EVN Red Week from December 8 to 14, 2025.
On December 9, 2025, employees of the company participated in a voluntary blood donation drive at the headquarters of Power Generation Corporation 2; as a result, they contributed 69 units of blood to the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital of Can Tho City. This is a social welfare activity aimed at the community, organized periodically by the company, attracting many employees to participate annually. From 2017 to 2025, the company's employees have contributed 617 units of blood to the local area.
The company promoted the 11th EVN Pink Week 2025 on its website and displayed banners at the gates of its two headquarters: Can Tho Thermal Power Plant and O Mon I Thermal Power Plant. Units within the company encouraged all staff and workers to actively participate in and support the program.
EVN's Red Week is an annual program launched by the Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) to encourage officials, union members, and employees throughout the industry to join hands for the community. Voluntary blood donation is a meaningful and humane act, demonstrating the Vietnamese tradition of "mutual support and compassion," and reflecting the beautiful corporate culture of the Vietnam Electricity Group in general and Can Tho Thermal Power Company in particular: "Responsibility - Compassion."
