On the morning of December 11th, the People's Committee of Cam Hung commune organized a ceremony to launch pineapple planting and a conference to share experiences in agricultural production in the commune.

At the launching ceremony, representatives from the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Cam Hung commune government, Dong Giao Export Food Joint Stock Company (Doveco), and local farmers conducted a trial planting at the household of Mr. Nguyen Nhu Hanh (Hung Trung village).
Reportedly, during this period, Dong Giao Export Food Joint Stock Company (Doveco) and Cam Hung Pineapple Production Cooperative signed a cooperation agreement to develop a linked pineapple growing area in the commune with an area of 6 hectares, involving 4 households.
To ensure the model's effectiveness, Dong Giao Export Food Joint Stock Company is responsible for organizing training, education, and transferring technical processes for planting, caring for, and harvesting; assigning technical staff to regularly coordinate with local authorities in planning planting areas and guiding production processes; and ensuring the supply of seeds in the correct quantity, quality, type, and on schedule as committed.

When the pineapple crop reaches harvest time, the company will purchase the product under a contract, contributing to stable output and reducing market risks. Cam Hung commune will also continue to cooperate closely with its partner to ensure the cooperation process yields good results, contributing to raising awareness, improving methods, and increasing production efficiency for farmers.
This helps people feel secure in investing in production and boldly apply scientific and technological advancements to farming. At the same time, the locality also has the conditions to build a sustainable value chain, creating a foundation for long-term agricultural development and building large-scale commodity production areas.

Also this morning, the People's Committee of Cam Hung commune held a conference to review experiences and implement the agricultural production plan for 2026.
Cam Hung currently has many favorable conditions for agricultural development in the province, with over 1,200 hectares of spring rice cultivation; a total pig population of over 5,500; a buffalo and cattle population of 5,390; and a forest area of over 6,700 hectares… In recent years, the commune has focused on land consolidation and conversion; introducing new crops and livestock into production; and promoting the application of scientific and technological advancements in farming and animal husbandry.
Entering the spring planting season of 2026, the locality is focusing on implementing the construction and upgrading of irrigation and transportation infrastructure; arranging rice varieties; and developing new production models.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing the difficulties and obstacles in agricultural production in the locality; and proposed many solutions to improve efficiency in the future. According to the plan, the commune will focus on establishing agricultural cooperatives to create momentum for production development; and expand the model of pineapple cultivation linkage to 20 hectares.
Simultaneously, focus on forming concentrated production areas, emphasizing changes in farming methods for farmers in line with the Project on Reducing Emissions in Crop Production for the period 2025-2035, with a vision to 2050; expanding the system of greenhouses and net houses for growing vegetables and fruits; continuing to implement land consolidation and development of diverse aquatic products. At the same time, attention should be paid to strengthening production chains linked to product consumption.
