The workshop aims to enhance the skills and expertise in trade promotion for businesses and cooperatives producing and trading specialty products, handicrafts, OCOP products, and typical rural industrial products. The workshop helps businesses gain a proper understanding and learn how to create a professional, easily recognizable, and long-lasting image and product. This will enable them to integrate their products and goods into tourism activities, increasing their value and expanding their markets.
Through these activities, specialty product producers, craft villages, and OCOP (One Commune One Product) enterprises are connected and interact with the community, tourists, accommodation establishments, and media channels. This promotes trade, fosters linkages between entities, promotes the connection between tourism and the consumption of local specialty products, and contributes to the socio -economic development of the city.
At the workshop, guests shared their expertise in trade promotion. The content focused on how to utilize trade promotion tools (introduction, advertising, networking, product consumption, etc.), combined with creating real-world experiences for tourists to enhance the value of products/services and promote the development of trade and tourism. Building a digital brand for Hue specialties was also discussed, from developing traditional product brand stories to modern ones. Storytelling skills linked to culture and experiences, as well as practical experiences in building successful digital sales channels for Hue specialties, were also shared at the workshop.

Within the framework of the workshop, the Center also organized activities such as exhibitions, demonstrations, and product experiences showcasing local specialties and traditional crafts; and networking events with businesses, artisans, KOLs, and the media.
Mr. Nguyen Le Minh Tuan, Deputy Director of the City's Investment Promotion, Trade and Business Support Center, said that businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), face many difficulties in trade promotion activities. Therefore, this event is an opportunity for businesses to gain more skills in trade promotion, advertising, building product stories, increasing brand recognition; connecting Hue's specialty products with experiential tourism models, creating sustainable added value. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for businesses to exchange and share practical experiences and solutions for accessing new markets.
