The congress was attended by 200 official delegates, representing 3,757 union members and youth from 46 affiliated grassroots organizations of the Youth Union.

The Congress has the motto "Pioneer - Solidarity - Courage - Breakthrough - Development" and the theme "Proudly, firmly following the Party, the youth of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee build great ambitions, join hands, unite, pioneer in the era of national development, contribute to the successful implementation of political tasks at agencies, units and enterprises".

Comrade Lai Thi Yen Linh, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee attended the first session of the Congress.

The Congress aims to evaluate the results of the Union's work and youth movement in the past term, and at the same time determine the direction, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term; continue to improve the quality of the Union organization, strengthen the training of revolutionary ideals, promote the creative, pioneering and voluntary role of union members and youth in the cause of building Lam Dong province to develop comprehensively and sustainably.

At the first session held on the afternoon of October 30, the Congress carried out many important contents: Electing the Presidium, Secretariat, and the Delegate Qualification Examination Board; approving the program, regulations and working regulations of the Congress. At the same time, listening and giving opinions on the Delegate Qualification Examination Report.

The Congress also disseminated a number of contents for the solemn session and suggested that delegates contribute their opinions to the documents of the 13th National Youth Union Congress, the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lam Dong province, term 2025 - 2030, along with the Summary Report on the implementation of the 12th Youth Union Charter and proposals to amend and supplement the Youth Union Charter.

The solemn session of the Congress will take place on the morning of October 31, with the participation of leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Lam Dong Provincial Youth Union, and delegates representing the youth of the Provincial People's Committee agencies. This will be an opportunity for the youth of the Provincial People's Committee to affirm their spirit of solidarity, creativity and aspiration to contribute in the new period.
