The new landslide caused a lot of rock and soil to spill onto the road.

Each landslide was 30-40m long, causing hundreds of tons of rock and soil to fall from the hill, burying the road. The landslide also brought down many large trees with diameters of 0.4-0.6m, blocking the road.

Two excavators were also mobilized to the scene to handle the landslides.

Due to the large amount of rock, soil, and trees falling onto the road at the two landslides, the locality is coordinating with the Traffic Police to block off the road.

Son Dien Commune has also reported to Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to direct the increase of forces and means to coordinate in overcoming landslides on Gia Bac Pass.

Although the forces have been making great efforts, it will be difficult to complete the work of handling and repairing the two landslides tonight. It is expected that by 7am on October 31st at the latest, if it does not rain, the landslide repair will be basically completed and traffic will be reopened.
