Accordingly, at 9:00 p.m. on October 30, Mui Ne Border Guard Station organized forces and vehicles including 17 officers and soldiers, using canoes to support people in Ham Thang ward, Lam Dong province to get out of the flood area.

From 10:30 p.m. on October 30 to 4:30 a.m. on October 31, 2025, forces and vehicles of Mui Ne Border Guard Station coordinated with functional forces of Ham Thang ward to evacuate about 60 people out of the flood danger zone, ensuring safety.

In Son My commune, on the afternoon of October 30, on the road to Cu My beach, Son My commune, Lam Dong province - the route where people travel to exploit seafood and go to the shrimp ponds, there was a phenomenon of water flooding the road with strong currents, affecting people passing by, especially at night.

Faced with that situation, Tan Thang Border Guard Station sent officers and soldiers to coordinate with the Military Command of Son My Commune to set up ropes and help people cross the area where the water flowed rapidly. Currently, officers and soldiers of the units are on duty at the area where the water overflowed the road to monitor the situation and support the people.

Faced with the complicated developments of prolonged heavy rains causing severe flooding in some areas, the Defense Command of Area 4 - La Gi and the Defense Command of Area 5 - Phan Thiet also deployed forces and directed the Military Commands of communes and wards in the area to proactively coordinate with local forces to support people in responding to and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and ensuring safety in the area.

Immediately after receiving the directive, the Military Commands of communes and wards quickly mobilized forces and vehicles, organized disaster prevention shock teams to key areas, directly helping people evacuate, clean up, and protect property.

In flooded and affected areas, units have been evacuating households in low-lying areas, riverside areas, and areas at risk of landslides to safe places; supporting the elderly, children and pets to take shelter; helping people reinforce houses, cover roofs, and move furniture before the water rises.

Police and youth union members of communes and wards also made efforts to clear sewers, remove fallen trees and obstacles on the road, ensuring traffic and safety in residential areas. At the same time, they guided people to proactively protect their property and minimize risks during floods.
Thanks to the drastic participation, high sense of responsibility and solidarity of the forces, it has contributed to ensuring the safety of people's lives and property, maintaining stability of security and order in the area during the flood.
