On October 30, six typical enterprises of Dak Lak province participated in the 23rd Korea International Fermented Food Exhibition (IFFE 2025) in Jeonju city, Jeonbuk province. This is an opportunity to introduce Dak Lak's typical products and OCOP products to Korean consumers, while expanding trade cooperation opportunities between the two localities.
At the event, the MISS EDE brand continued to impress by bringing the experience of tasting Dak Lak coffee and chocolate. Vietnamese specialty Robusta coffee products were introduced directly to Korean consumers, helping to affirm the flavor of Central Highlands coffee in the international market.
Previously, in May 2025, the MISS EDE brand exported 3,600 packages of finished roasted coffee to Korea. This success was achieved thanks to the support of the Dak Lak Department of Industry and Trade, contributing to bringing local coffee products to the global market and enhancing the value of Vietnamese brands.
IFFE 2025 Exhibition is expected to attract more than 100 international importers and 130,000 visitors, creating a great opportunity for Dak Lak to promote the image of agricultural products, especially coffee - the flavor of the Central Highlands, to international friends and promote investment cooperation between Dak Lak and Jeonbuk.
Update world coffee prices
On the London Stock Exchange, the online price of Robusta coffee futures for January 2026 delivery closed on October 31 at $4,583 per ton, down 1.25% ($58 per ton) from yesterday. The March 2026 futures contract fell 1.14% ($52 per ton) to $4,507 per ton.

Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee for delivery in December 2025 on the New York Stock Exchange fell 1.05% (4.15 US cents/pound) yesterday to 387.85 US cents/pound. The contract for delivery in March 2026 fell 0.78% (2.95 US cents/pound) to 369.3 US cents/pound.

As of October 31, the Arabica coffee inventory managed by the ICE Exchange (USA) was only 446,475 60kg bags, the lowest in 1.5 years. On the ICE Exchange London, Robusta coffee inventory also dropped to 6,111 lots – the lowest level in more than 3 months. The sharp drop in inventory caused coffee prices on both international exchanges to increase rapidly in the last days of October.
Experts say the drop in inventories suggests a global coffee supply shortage. In Brazil, prolonged dry weather has directly affected Arabica coffee yields. In Vietnam and Indonesia, farmers have limited sales in anticipation of higher prices, making Robusta even scarcer on the market.
In addition, rising logistics costs, a stronger US dollar and international shipping delays have led to a steady decline in coffee deliveries to ICE-certified warehouses, raising concerns about shortages as the peak consumption season approaches in Europe and North America.
In the context of tight supply, investment funds and commodity traders have increased purchases to hedge against the risk of price increases. As a result, international coffee prices have rebounded strongly, opening a new period of volatility for the global coffee market.
