Despite suffering many losses, Hue's business community still shows a proactive and resilient spirit in the face of natural disasters - both overcoming the consequences and maintaining production.
According to Ms. Dang Thi Duong, President of the Hue City Women Entrepreneurs Association, almost all of the Association’s members were affected by the floods. “In some places, the water was more than 2 meters deep, and goods and equipment were completely damaged. Many women had to move goods at night, but still could not react in time,” Ms. Duong said. The Association is currently summarizing the damage and proposing credit, tax and insurance support to help businesses recover operations soon.
