On November 5 and 6, Khanh Hoa Department of Health organized a training conference to improve professional skills in implementing social assistance policies, social pensions and children's work in 2025 for nearly 200 officers and employees working in social protection and children's work at social protection facilities, communes, wards and special zones in the province.

At the conference, the reporter instructed and discussed the following contents: Professional procedures for appraising records, identifying subjects and implementing regular and ad hoc social assistance policies; procedures for supporting households and individuals who receive care and support for social protection subjects; professional procedures for adjusting and ceasing social allowances, and supporting funeral expenses.

In addition, the conference also focused on appraisal, identification of beneficiaries and implementation of social pension policies; guidance on payment of non-cash social assistance policies; skills to support people with disabilities to live independently, integrate into the community and support and rehabilitation for the elderly based on the community.

In the field of children, the conference updated the system of documents of the Central and local governments on children's work; guided the authority of local authorities at two levels in implementing policies; deployed policies to protect, care for and educate children. At the same time, guided the regulations on coordination in preventing and combating violence and child abuse in the province and used software to manage children's information at the grassroots level...
