An Giang: 50 officers and professional soldiers complete Khmer language training

On the afternoon of November 5, the An Giang Provincial Military Command coordinated with Tra Vinh University to organize the closing ceremony of the Khmer language training class in 2025. Colonel Cao Minh Tam, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command attended the ceremony.

At the end of the course, 100% of students achieved good and excellent results, of which 70% achieved excellent results.

Colonel Cao Minh Tam, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, awarded certificates to students who completed the Khmer language training course.

Over a period of 2 months, 50 students who are officers and professional soldiers of agencies and units of the armed forces of An Giang province were taught basic Khmer language and Khmer communication by teachers of Victory Foreign Language - Information Technology Center, Tra Vinh University for 480 periods (300 periods in class, 180 periods of self-study).

Students are also equipped with language knowledge (phonetics, grammar, vocabulary, semantics), contributing to improving communication skills in Khmer; general knowledge about culture - society , customs, daily life... of Khmer people.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Colonel Cao Minh Tam, Deputy Political Commissar of An Giang Provincial Military Command, highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the class organizing committee, class executive committee, lecturers, especially the serious learning spirit, discipline and solidarity of the students.

Colonel Cao Minh Tam requested that in the coming time, each comrade continue to self-study, self-research, improve Khmer language proficiency, apply it effectively in work, especially in building close relationships with ethnic minorities, contributing to consolidating a solid position of people's hearts.
