Hero of Labor Thai Huong was directly awarded the Friendship Medal by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin.

On the occasion of this important holiday, on the afternoon of November 4, 2025 (local time), at the Kremlin in Moscow (Russian Federation); Vietnam was honored and proud to have Hero of Labor Thai Huong - Founder, Chairman of the Strategy Council of TH Group , General Director of North Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank, personally awarded the noble Friendship Medal by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin for her outstanding contributions to strengthening and developing the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation in food security.

On November 4, on the occasion of Russia's National Unity Day, at the Kremlin in Moscow, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the Order of Friendship, a noble award of the Russian Federation, to Ms. Thai Huong, Hero of Labor of Vietnam, Chairwoman of the TH Group's Strategy Council.

Honored after receiving the Medal, Labor Hero Thai Huong shared with the President and delegates at the event:

“I don't know how to describe it, I just know that I am moved and happy to meet you at the Kremlin - the heart of Russia; to feel your great warmth and kindness - the one who is gradually rebuilding the greatness of benevolent Russia.

For the achievements honored today, I would like to sincerely thank you, thank the government of the Russian Federation and the leadership team of the provinces I visited to implement the project; and I would also like to sincerely thank the Party, the State and the people of Vietnam for supporting, fostering the heroic qualities of a businessman in me and creating conditions for me to invest in the Russian Federation during the embargo period.

I will keep this award in my heart. I vow to further promote the achievements that have been made. The land will bloom and friendship will be strengthened. Scientists , farmers, and citizens of Vietnam and Russia will become friends on fertile fields, and generations will be prosperous and happy.

The most impressive thing about the project in Russia

In 2009, Ms. Thai Huong founded TH Group, starting a revolution in the Vietnamese dairy industry, laying the foundation for the Vietnamese fresh milk industry with the philosophy of "Cherishing Mother Nature, humans are the main subject, on the basis of sustainable development", along with a closed production model "from pasture to glass of milk", the foundation for a modern high-tech agriculture .

After just over a decade, TH has become a pioneer in green economy and circular economy, not only contributing to enhancing the position of Vietnamese milk, but also creating new trust in real products, real values and real people.

From that foundation, Ms. Thai Huong decided to bring the Vietnamese brand to the world with a bold move: investing in the Russian Federation during the period when this country was under economic embargo.

In 2015, when many international corporations withdrew, she chose to "go against the wind", deploying a total investment of more than 2.7 billion USD in a chain of high-tech agricultural projects stretching from Moscow, Kaluga, the Republic of Bashkortostan to the Primorsky Far East region, forming a national-scale network of clean food production, processing and distribution in Russia.

Ms. Thai Huong explained: “In investment, the most important thing is strategy. What I am most satisfied with about the project in Russia is that I have really come up with a very valuable product strategy, choosing an agricultural product, milk, to bring the eternal value of health to people; We shared the shortage of milk during the embargo period with Russia and the Russian people, although not much, but that is the heart, the path: bringing science and technology and management science into agriculture”.

After receiving the Friendship Medal personally awarded by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Ms. Thai Huong emotionally shared: “I am a person who loves Russia very much. I also admire Russian President Vladimir Putin. Of the three men who have had the greatest influence on my business life, two belong to the Soviet Union and the great Russia. The first is Pavel Korsaghin - the hero in the work "How the Steel Was Tempered" and the second is President Putin - he is my idol.

I am truly happy to meet him in person for the second time. Vladimir Putin is an outstanding son of Russia. He is not only an outstanding leader of the Russian Federation but also a leader of the world. He is a symbol of the Russian people: both majestic and generous, both strong and holy.

And finally, I would like to say that Russia has always been a symbol of strength, kindness and resilience. In the minds of Vietnamese people in general and myself in particular, Russia is a great friend, a beautiful memory of years of studying, working, sharing beliefs and ideals of peace, justice and humanity.”

Making full use of the advantages of land and water of the Russian Federation

Ms. Thai Huong said that TH will continue to implement projects in the Russian Federation as originally planned, introducing healthy product sets to Russian consumers, taking advantage of achievements in science, technology and management science that have been successful in the world, green economy, knowledge economy, circular economy to fully exploit the advantages of land and water. Facing the issue of food security and food safety, Russia is qualified to have a large, fertile land source, clean land, clean water to develop food sources not only for Russia but also for export to countries around the world, fully promoting the advantages of agricultural products, from clean to organic products.

And up to now, the Project Complex is being implemented, the policies of President Vladimir Putin, of the Russian Government to revive Russian agriculture in general and for the Project remain unchanged. The Project has farms in Moscow and Kaluga, purebred high-yielding cows selected by TH experts, successfully imported from the US in a spectacular way, overcoming the EU-US embargo barrier with Russia.

The application of technology and management science helps the herd have the highest average milk yield in Russia. Currently, the total herd at the two farms is approaching 10,000 cows and the average yield is more than 40 liters/day/cow. The milk quality is also outstanding with the highest fat content of 4.0% and protein content of 3.2% in Russia. TH's raw fresh milk is rated "First Class" and is purchased at good prices by major companies in Russia such as Danone, PepsiCo...

In the Far East with unique farming conditions, in May 2024, TH started a project combining dairy farming with cereal and oil crop cultivation to compensate for the shortage of agricultural products, creating hundreds of job opportunities for the local community.

In May 2025, TH Group inaugurated the TH Fresh Milk Processing Factory in Kaluga province - Russian Federation.

In the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Grain and Crop Cultivation Project has come into operation. At the Kaluga Special Industrial Zone, on May 11, 2025, TH inaugurated the TH Fresh Milk Processing Factory, witnessed by General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam; Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko. The factory has a capacity of 1,000 tons/day, of which phase 1 is 500 tons/day, among the factories with the leading processing capacity in the Russian Federation.

The Factory's products are very diverse, from traditional Russian products such as pasteurized and sterilized fresh milk, Smetana, Yogurt, Kefir, Ryazhenka, butter, cheese, cream... to non-traditional products but following the trend of the times to protect health against non-communicable epidemics (obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes) to meet local tastes combined with TH's special creations.

TH Group not only serves the domestic Russian market of nearly 145 million people but also aims to export to regional and international markets such as BRICS and Asia-Pacific. The Group also aims to develop organic products according to international standards in Russia.

The TH dairy cow farming and fresh milk processing project complex in the Russian Federation has brought positive socio-economic impacts, contributing to the restructuring of the agricultural sector, creating hundreds of jobs for Russian workers.

The success of TH Group and Ms. Thai Huong has also marked the special success of the agricultural development promotion policies of the Russian Federation. The understanding, facilitation and support of the two governments, along with the tireless efforts of TH people, the progress of the Project has brought about positive socio-economic impacts, contributing to the restructuring of the agricultural sector, reviving tens of thousands of hectares of abandoned agricultural land in Moscow and Kaluga into fertile fields, creating more than 500 jobs for Russian workers, becoming a meaningful symbol of "people's diplomacy".
Setting out the strategy of Cherishing Mother Nature, people are the main subjects on the basis of sustainable development and implementing brand building and distribution system in the Russian Federation, TH is expected to become a national brand of the Russian Federation of international stature, contributing to a strong and prosperous Russia.
