On November 5, An Giang Provincial Tax Department held a conference to deploy the plan for implementing 60 peak days of converting the model from lump-sum tax to declaration for business households.

Head of Taxation of An Giang Province Nguyen Thanh Binh said that the transition from lump-sum tax to declaration for business households is an important step in the tax management reform program for the period 2025 - 2030, aiming to comprehensively modernize tax management, eliminate lump-sum tax, establish an equal business environment between business households and enterprises. At the same time, promote digital transformation and reduce compliance costs for taxpayers.

To implement the 60-day peak period of converting the lump-sum tax model to declaration for business households, An Giang Provincial Tax Department directed the tax authorities to classify and make a list of business households that pay taxes under the lump-sum method that have not yet converted. The tax authorities focused on mobilizing human resources to closely coordinate with local authorities, network operators, electronic invoice solution providers, and commercial banks to contact and directly guide each business household according to the principle of hand-holding. At the same time, review and update information of households that are no longer operating at the registered address or cases of wrongly issued tax codes... to clean up data during the conversion process.

Organize the synchronous implementation of the conversion of management models, guide business households to use the eTax Mobile application, public service portal...; coordinate with electronic invoice solution providers to guide the installation and use of electronic invoices generated from cash registers, coordinate with commercial banks to support the opening of separate accounts to serve business activities for business households.

The conversion work will prioritize the conversion of large-scale business households with high compliance levels; in which, households with revenue greater than 3 billion VND will be encouraged to convert to an enterprise model with the benefit of being exempt from corporate income tax according to the law...
