Tien Hai Commune trains rescue skills for officials and people

On the morning of November 5, the People's Committee of Tien Hai Commune (An Giang Province) organized a training course on search and rescue work in 2025 for officials and people in the area. Nearly 100 members of the Commune Civil Defense Command, militia, union members, youth and people in hamlets attended.

At the training session, Tien Hai Medical Station staff provided guidance on many necessary knowledge and skills in rescue work, such as: First aid for people with accidents and injuries, handling of drowning, burns, broken bones, etc. Trainees were able to directly practice basic first aid operations, artificial respiration skills, stopping bleeding, bandaging wounds, and safely transporting victims.

In addition, local government representatives also provided information on disaster prevention and control, incident response at sea, and instructed people to raise awareness of self-protection and mutual support in emergency situations.
