In the past time, the youth of the Military Command of Binh Duc Ward coordinated with the Ward Youth Union to carry out the movement "Youth volunteers to protect the Fatherland" with 123 sessions, 1,560 soldiers participated. Traditional activities on the occasion of the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22); the founding day of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3); the founding day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26); the founding day of the Militia and Self-Defense Force (March 28) ... were organized 248 sessions, attracting 8,423 youths to participate. At the same time, through the form of activities of residential groups and residential clusters, the youth of the unit propagated and disseminated the Party's policies and the State's policies to the people.
Secretary of the Binh Duc Ward Youth Union Tran Hanh Quyen said: “Implementing the direction of the Party Committee and the Youth Union at higher levels, the Ward Youth Union effectively deployed the movement “Youth volunteers to protect the Fatherland” associated with the movement “I love my Fatherland” with many specific and practical activities. That is, regularly propagating and educating union members and young people to raise awareness of law compliance, preventing and fighting crimes, drugs and social evils; maintaining the model of self-managed youth routes on security, order, security cameras, safe school gates and Green Sunday campaigns - security and order”. The Ward Youth Union pays attention to directing the activities of the Police Youth Union and the Military Youth Union, the two core forces in ensuring national defense and security. The Military Youth Union promotes propaganda of the Law on Military Service, takes care of the army's rear and supports gratitude activities. The ward's youth volunteer teams regularly participate in patrols and night guards, coordinating with the police and militia to ensure security and order on the roads and residential areas.
The youth of the Ward Military Command are always a creative and pioneering force in carrying out political tasks, training, combat readiness, building a strong and comprehensive unit, a clean and strong Party organization, contributing to improving the overall quality and combat strength of the army. The unit regularly coordinates closely with other forces to grasp the situation of the area and airspace; ready to coordinate and handle any situation that may arise, not to be passive or surprised. The entire force organized 2,087 protection patrols, of which the Ward Military Command proactively organized 416 with 3,215 comrades participating.
“We always strictly carry out the tasks of being ready for combat, commanding, and grasping the local situation; coordinating with the police force to patrol and protect political security, order, and social safety. Regularly coordinate with departments, branches, and organizations to grasp the ideological situation and quality of soldiers and youth in the area, as a basis for good implementation of military recruitment work,” said Nguyen Thi Kim Phung, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Military Command of Binh Duc Ward.
Mr. Duong Nhat Thi affirmed: “In the coming time, the unit will continue to pay attention to political and ideological education and leadership, and direct the youth of the Ward Military Command to uphold the sense of responsibility, actively study, improve professional skills, and strive to develop the unit's movement continuously. Each youth should uphold the spirit of self-study, practice, and improve professional qualifications; build the right motivation, attitude, and responsibility; regularly cultivate revolutionary ethics and political mettle, and truly be the vanguard and core force in the cause of building the army and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.”
