Spreading the movement to build cultural life in Dong Nai

With the motto "Relying on the people to care for the people", the Movement for National Solidarity in Building New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas in Dong Nai Province in recent years has promoted the proactiveness, creativity and self-management spirit of the people.

In recent times, Xuan Dinh Commune has widely implemented the Campaign for the Whole People to Unite to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas associated with the environmental protection movement. Through Party cell activities, meetings of self-governing people's groups and conferences of the Front, the content of waste classification at source, reduction of plastic waste, and maintenance of public hygiene are regularly propagated. Mass organizations such as the Women's Union, Youth Union, and Commune Farmers' Association all have practical models, contributing to changing the face of the countryside.

In particular, the Green Sunday model is maintained regularly every week, attracting a large number of cadres, members and people to participate in cleaning, clearing bushes, and collecting waste on the roads. The Commune Women's Union also launched the Flower Road Movement instead of waste, mobilizing members to plant flowers and trees to beautify the landscape. In addition, the Youth Union implemented the Youth with the Environment project, installed public trash cans, and propagated the message of Green Living - Clean Action, contributing to the formation of a civilized lifestyle and responsibility towards the environment.

Responding to the campaign launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nha Bich commune has concretized it with many meaningful models such as: Model Road, Green House - Sharing Love, Veterans Helping Each Other to Develop the Economy, Youth Volunteers for Digital Transformation. Up to now, the whole commune has 21/21 residential areas meeting cultural standards, of which 10 are model residential areas, more than 95% of households have achieved the title of cultural family. Cultural, sports and artistic activities are organized enthusiastically, contributing to building a united, civilized and happy community.

According to Vice Chairman of Thanh Son Commune People's Committee Tran Phong Lan, in addition to maintaining the Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful model in hamlets and residential groups, the locality has deployed and mobilized households to participate in environmental sanitation work; ensuring that weddings, funerals and festivals are organized more and more economically, without ostentation or waste. In the commune, there is currently no phenomenon of forced marriage, early marriage, and no phenomenon of high dowry. Marriage registration and ceremony organization are also simple and depend on each family's circumstances. Funerals are conducted thoughtfully and solemnly, limiting the time to more than 48 hours. 100% of hamlets have built village covenants and conventions and implemented them effectively.

In many communes and wards in the province, good models and practices in implementing the contents of the Campaign have been built and replicated by the Fronts at all levels in coordination with socio -political organizations. These include: Model of Self-managed Residential Areas for Environmental Protection and Climate Change Response, Affectionate Residential Areas, Love Rice Jars, Lifelong Learning Clubs, Learning Families; Security Camera Model, Peaceful and Orderly Parishes and Congregations, Residential Areas for Protecting Territorial Sovereignty and Border Security, Border Bright Spots Club, National Flag Route, etc.

According to Vice Chairman of Bom Bo Commune People's Committee Nguyen Van Phat, in recent times, the locality has effectively integrated the contents of the Movement for the Whole People to Unite to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas with the activities of the Movement for the Whole People to Unite to Build a Cultural Life to improve the effectiveness of building exemplary families and exemplary hamlets. Dong Xoai ward sets a target, striving to have 90% of the neighborhoods in the area achieve the title of Cultural Residential Area by the end of 2025; 90% of the ward's cultural and sports institutions and 90% of cultural houses and sports areas operate effectively. At the same time, complete and ensure the targets towards being recognized as a ward that does a good job in preventing and combating drug and prostitution evils.
