Vietnam Law Day (November 9) – Contributing to promoting the value of the Constitution, building awareness of the rule of law in social life

Vietnam Law Day (November 9) is an annual political and legal event of great significance, aiming to honor the Constitution and law; affirm the position, role and significance of law in social life, educate the awareness of respecting the Constitution and law in the whole society; improve the quality and effectiveness of law-making and enforcement work, create fundamental changes in the awareness of self-compliance and compliance with the law of cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people. Activities responding to Vietnam Law Day at local agencies and units in the province are an opportunity for each cadre, civil servant, public employee, worker and people to actively and voluntarily study and learn the law in order to educate the way of living and working according to the Constitution and law, contributing to ensuring national defense and security, building a safe and healthy, orderly, disciplined society in the province.

Law - the foundation of stability and development

After more than 10 years of implementing Vietnam Law Day (from 2013 to present), the work of disseminating and educating the law (PBGDPL) in Lang Son province has had many positive changes, going into depth and having real effectiveness. The Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Lang Son province always identify the dissemination and education of the law as a regular task of the entire political system under the leadership of the Party because this is not only a simple propaganda activity but also an important part in the work of leading, managing and operating society by law . The effective implementation of the dissemination and education of the law helps bring the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws into life, contributing to raising awareness and sense of law observance of cadres, party members and people. Implementing the Provincial People's Committee's Plan on organizing the response to the Law Day, departments, branches, sectors; People's Committees of communes and wards have all developed plans to organize the response. In particular, promoting legal dissemination activities, raising awareness of the socialist rule of law state, policies, laws, support to remove difficulties for people and businesses; newly passed laws and documents that have a direct impact on people's lives... Thereby attracting the attention of the whole society about the purpose and meaning of Law Day, making Law Day a widespread political and legal activity. During the peak period of responding to Law Day 2024-2025, the whole province organized more than 1,500 training conferences, seminars, and legal discussions, attracting over 120,000 participants. Many forms of propaganda were applied, with strong spreading effects such as: Organizing mock trials to help people, especially young people, clearly understand the legal consequences of illegal acts. Maintaining and expanding the "Youth with the Law" and "Women with the Law" Clubs at the grassroots level contributes to forming the habit of "self-studying and self-learning the law". Organizing online competitions to learn about the law is a form of propaganda that is suitable for the digital transformation trend, making legal dissemination work more flexible, lively and more influential than traditional propaganda methods. In addition, the grassroots loudspeaker system, electronic information portal/page, social networks, Zalo, and Facebook of local authorities continue to become useful information channels that are fast, convenient and easy to access.

Join hands to build Lang Son province "Rule of law - discipline - creativity - development"

In 2025, the theme " Building a culture of law compliance in the whole society, raising awareness of respect for the Constitution and the law of all people and organizations" continues to be an important orientation for each agency, unit and locality in Lang Son province to organize many practical, creative and effective activities. Law Day 2025 is being implemented in the context that the whole country is promoting streamlining the organizational apparatus, enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the operations of two-level local governments, promoting digital transformation as well as resolutely preventing and combating negativity and waste.

Therefore, response activities must closely follow the direction of the Party, State, Government, and Prime Minister , and at the same time be associated with the requirements of innovative thinking, administrative reform, and digital transformation. On that basis, propaganda slogans will focus on emphasizing innovative thinking in law-making, removing institutional bottlenecks, improving the effectiveness of law enforcement, and at the same time encouraging the spirit of accompanying people and businesses. Some important messages are given such as: Digital transformation - Opportunity to improve the effectiveness of law-making and enforcement; Living and working according to the Constitution and laws is a practical action in response to Law Day; Making institutions and laws a competitive advantage, a solid foundation, and a strong driving force for national development...

Promoting the achieved results, responding to Vietnam Law Day November 9, 2025, the whole Lang Son province continues to promote innovation in the content and methods of legal propaganda; propagating the law according to the motto of focusing on the grassroots, to each citizen and each enterprise. Considering compliance with the law as a responsibility, honor, a measure of culture and social ethics, rich and diverse propaganda activities, spreading from the province to the grassroots, from the digital environment to practical life, promise to create a widespread political - legal movement, raising awareness of self-conscious compliance with the law in the whole society, contributing to strengthening people's trust in the law, in the leadership of the Party and the management of the State.
