Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee announced an emergency situation regarding the landslide incident on the river bank and beach section K8+100 ÷ K8+900 of the left dike of Cau, Hop Thinh commune, where more than 40 households live and the Dai Mao family national historical relic is being seriously affected. In this area, heavy rains and floods have caused many landslides with a depth of 1.5 - 2 m, with a total length of about 150 m, forcing 10 households to urgently evacuate to a safe place.

On the same day, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also issued a decision to declare an emergency situation regarding landslides on river banks and beaches in sections K48+800 ÷ K49+300 and K49+840 ÷ K50+100 of the right dike of Cau, Kinh Bac ward (Bac Ninh city). In this area, the landslide is 0.5 - 1 m deep, about 390 m long, directly affecting 49 households living close to the riverbank. Survey results of the Vietnam Institute of Water Resources show that the river section has erosion holes 670 m long, the deepest - 9.55 m, posing a high risk of causing subsidence, cracking of roads and civil works.
At the same time, the province also announced an emergency situation of landslides on the dike surface and slope in the K0+160 ÷ Kc dike boi Tien Son - Van Ha, Van Ha ward, where floodwaters exceeded the dike surface by about 1.52 m, causing serious landslides on the dike surface and slope for over 5 km, creating frog jaws under the concrete layer, collapsing the lighting system and making the main traffic route unsafe for local people. The incident of landslides on the banks of Ngu Huyen Khe river through the communes of Tien Du, Tam Da, Yen Phong. The circulation of storm No. 11 caused prolonged flooding, causing 19 landslides to appear on both sides of the river with a total length of 666 m, directly threatening the safety of Yen Phong industrial parks, Phu Lam industrial cluster and neighboring residential areas.
Previously, the province also announced a general emergency situation for dike incidents on Cau River, Thuong River and landslides that occurred from October 10 to 20, 2025, requiring localities to mobilize forces, means and materials to handle the situation from the first hour, develop plans to evacuate people, and ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, and local authorities to organize monitoring, warning, and guidance on incident handling measures according to the "4 on-site" motto; at the same time, requesting media agencies to regularly inform and warn so that people can proactively prevent.
The main cause of the incidents was the impact of storm circulation No. 10 and No. 11, the dykes in the province had many landslides at consecutive locations, potentially causing direct impacts on the safety of river banks, residential areas living near the riverbank and neighboring areas; landslides and rock slides made it unsafe for people and traffic routes in the area.
The Provincial People's Committee directs relevant departments, branches, units and localities to immediately deploy emergency measures to respond and overcome the consequences after detecting the incident to prevent and minimize damage caused by construction incidents. Closely monitor landslide incidents to proactively warn and have solutions to evacuate people and property to safe places.
Maintain warning signs in the entire area on the dike and riverbank at locations where landslides have occurred and are at risk of further landslides so that people can proactively take measures to prevent and avoid them and ensure safety. Organize the installation of markers and markers to monitor and keep a close watch on landslide developments. Proactively develop plans to evacuate people when landslides develop and affect people's lives and property, and make arrangements to ensure that displaced families have a stable place to eat, live and work.
Assign the People's Committees of relevant communes and wards to coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and relevant agencies and units to urgently organize and implement the "4 on-site" motto. Develop plans to ensure the safety of people's lives, emergency evacuation plans and support for stabilizing life, plans to handle and overcome incidents to ensure safety against natural disasters in the short and long term. Integrate natural disaster prevention into local socio -economic development plans and plans.
