In October 2025, EVN ensured safe electricity supply to serve the country's socio-economic development and meet people's living needs.

Stable operation of power system, proactive response to natural disasters

Of which, the total system's electricity production and import output in October 2025 reached 27.26 billion kWh. Accumulated in the first 10 months of 2025, the total system's output reached 268.82 billion kWh.

In the proportion of mobilizing power sources of the whole system in the first 10 months of the year, hydropower accounted for 32.6%, coal-fired thermal power 46.2%, gas turbine 6.2%, renewable energy 12.1%, including solar power 20.59 billion kWh and wind power 10.99 billion kWh; imported electricity 2.7%.

EVN continues to promote business activities, customer services and expand electricity coverage in disadvantaged areas. All 35/35 BTS stations in hamlets with low signal coverage have been supplied with electricity; the remaining 72 stations are waiting for telecommunication equipment to be installed to connect to the grid. The Group also completed investment documents to supply electricity to areas without electricity to prepare public investment capital for the period 2026 - 2030...

October saw two storms, MATMO and FENGSHEN, causing flooding and major damage in many localities in the North and Central regions. Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh , Lang Son, Cao Bang, Da Nang, Hue, Quang Tri and Quang Ngai provinces were severely affected. EVN mobilized forces and coordinated with local authorities to quickly handle the incident, safely restore power supply, and limit the impact on customers.

In the construction investment work, 135 projects were started and 172 power grid projects from 110 - 500kV were completed and energized in 10 months. A series of key projects were put into operation such as Lao Cai 500kV transformer station and Lao Cai - Vinh Yen 500kV transmission line; Vinh Yen 500kV station; 220kV projects in the North and South regions.

Notably, EVN has completed supplying national grid electricity to Con Dao, making an important contribution to the development of the marine economy and ensuring energy security in the island region...

In particular, EVN continues to implement social security programs, with a total value of 125.6 billion VND in 10 months. Nearly 50 billion VND supports the removal of temporary houses in many localities; more than 31 billion VND supports natural disaster recovery in the North and Central regions.

Ensure progress and quality of power source projects

Looking forward to November and the end of 2025, EVN's overarching task is to ensure sufficient electricity for production and daily life, especially for important political events such as the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Hydropower units closely follow hydrological developments and proactively store water at the end of the flood season; thermal power units proactively coordinate with supply units to ensure sufficient fuel (coal, gas) for power generation.

Regarding investment in power source construction, it is necessary to ensure the progress of key power source projects: Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant expansion, generating electricity from Unit 2 in November 2025; striving to complete the entire project in December 2025.

Quang Trach I Thermal Power Plant: Unit 1 will burn coal in November 2025 and connect to the grid in December 2025; strive to start construction of Quang Trach II Thermal Power Project in December 2025.

Concentrate all resources, closely monitor the completion of site clearance to implement the Tri An Hydropower Expansion Project; implement the Bac Ai Pumped Storage Hydropower Project according to the signed contract schedule...

Regarding investment in grid construction, focus on directing and urging the progress of investment preparation and construction progress of key grid projects. In particular, speed up the implementation progress to energize the 220kV Tuong Duong - Do Luong, Do Luong - Nam Cam lines; start construction of the 500kV Hoa Binh 2 switching station and connection in the fourth quarter of 2025; speed up the progress of the 500kV 04-circuit line connecting the 500kV Thanh My transformer station...

With determination and many synchronous solutions, EVN aims to complete the 2025 task, ensure national energy security, while continuing to improve service quality and contribute to the community.
