When farmers access the market through livestream sessions
Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Luong Van Tu - Chairman of VICETA, former Head of the negotiating delegation to bring Vietnam to the World Trade Organization (WTO), shared: “When Vietnam joined the WTO two decades ago, we opened our doors to the world through policies and institutions. Today, with this project, we continue to integrate, but at a deeper level: digital integration. When each farmer and each cooperative can access the global market with just a phone and a livestream session, that is integration at the people's level.”

Mr. Luong Van Tu affirmed that digital transformation is not only a technology story but also a human story, a journey to help the community confidently exploit technology to create new values, thereby forming a sustainable and inclusive creative economy.
“This project not only helps people sell their products, but more importantly, helps them believe in their own abilities, that their hometown products can go far thanks to knowledge and technology,” Mr. Tu emphasized.
Inspire and train digital skills for the community
The Association's Board of Directors unanimously assigned Mr. Trinh Xuan Tuyen to take on the role of team leader in charge of implementing the project nationwide, directly coordinating the series of seminars and training activities.
In the first phase, the Association will coordinate with localities to organize a series of workshops on "Innovation - Creativity - Digital Transformation for Sustainable Development of Vietnam" in communes, wards and towns across the country.
In particular, the Association will provide financial, technical and organizational support throughout the preparation process for the local workshop, from communication, connecting experts, preparing training content to actual implementation at the grassroots level.

Mr. Trinh Xuan Tuyen said : “The Association not only provides knowledge but also accompanies with action. We support localities to organize professional and practical seminars - where people are directly guided, hold phones, record videos , post products and connect with real customers.”
According to Mr. Trinh Xuan Tuyen, the workshops are designed according to a multi-dimensional dialogue model, bringing together: representatives of the Vietnam Association of Economic and Trade Information and Consulting; representatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, local authorities, typical KOLs/KOCs in e-commerce and livestream, representatives of major e-commerce platforms such as Shopee, Tiki, Lazada, TikTok Shop and cooperatives, youth, women, and farmers in the locality.
With a scale of about 250 people/workshop, the program aims to inspire, train digital skills, connect the State - businesses - community, helping people proactively participate in the digital economy instead of just standing on the sidelines observing.
After the series of workshops, VICETA will continue to coordinate with local authorities to organize specialized training courses, instructing farmers, cooperatives, women and youth in building digital brands, managing livestream channels, and selling on e-commerce platforms.
With a long-term vision, real companionship and a sense of social responsibility, the Project "Digital transformation and sustainable creative economic development" promises to become a national model, spreading the spirit of "digital transformation for people, for the community, for sustainable development of Vietnam".
