According to the report of the Office of the State Council of Professors, in 2025, 1,073 candidates submitted applications for recognition of meeting the standards for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor at the basic Councils of Professors.
After that, 1,014 candidates were proposed to be considered for recognition at 28 industry and interdisciplinary professor councils. The industry and interdisciplinary professor councils continued to meet and 911 candidates, including 73 professor candidates and 938 associate professor candidates, were proposed to be considered for recognition by the State Professor Council.

In the final round, 900 candidates received the required number of votes of confidence. The passing rate compared to the total number of candidates who submitted their initial applications to the basic GS Councils was 83.88%, of which the passing rate of professor candidates was 71% and that of associate professor candidates was 85.2%.
According to regulations, after 15 days of announcing the results, if there are no petitions or complaints, the Chairman of the State Council of Professors will sign a decision to recognize and issue certificates of meeting the standards for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor to the candidates.
