The working group of Van Ninh commune went directly to the rafts to inform the fishermen about the situation, the complicated developments of storm No. 13 and the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on storm response. Local fishermen have grasped the situation of storm No. 13; tied up the rafts, brought their vehicles to shelters, and committed to return to shore on time as prescribed by the province after completion.

According to the leader of the Economic Department of Van Ninh commune, the whole commune currently has 167 boats, 120 aquaculture rafts and 160 workers working at sea. Up to now, the commune's boats have taken shelter from the storm at the Ba Buong river mouth and neighboring localities. In the face of the complicated developments of storm No. 13, the People's Committee of Van Ninh commune directed the functional forces to continue to closely monitor the storm situation, strengthen inspection work, and not let workers stay on rafts to ensure safety.
