Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 07/CD-UBND dated November 4, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on proactively deploying measures to respond to storm No. 13 (Kalmaegi) and post-storm floods, the delegation inspected supermarkets and businesses in the province.
Supermarkets and businesses have proactively increased their stock of essential goods to meet the increased demand of people during the storm. Among them, Co.opmart Quy Nhon, GO! Quy Nhon, Winmart Quy Nhon, Mega Market Quy Nhon, GO! An Nhon, Anh Nhat Import-Export Production Trading Co., Ltd.... have all increased their stock of goods 2-10 times compared to normal days.

The products that are focused on increasing include rice, instant noodles, fish sauce, cooking oil, dry food, canned food, bottled water, etc. Prices and supply are committed to be stable, avoiding shortages, speculation, and hoarding.
In particular, some units such as Co.opmart and GO! Quy Nhon have planned to add more staff, extend service hours and enhance home delivery services to ensure customer safety in bad weather conditions. At the same time, businesses have also developed flexible transportation plans to ensure the circulation of goods in the event of flooding or traffic disruption.

Regarding petroleum products, key traders and retail stores in the province maintain high reserves, ready to meet consumer demand and serve disaster prevention and control work.
According to Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Dinh Kha, the inspection team highly appreciated the proactive spirit of the units. At the same time, they requested to continue to closely monitor weather developments, promptly replenish goods sources, and ensure adequate supplies for people before, during and after the storm.
