Thanh Nhat Ward: Establishment of a professional association for free-range chicken farming

On November 5, Thanh Nhat Ward Farmers' Association launched the "free-range chicken farming" professional association at the Farmers' Association of Residential Group 15.

The "free-range chicken farming" professional association of residential group 15 was established on a voluntary, self-managed basis with 24 members who are households raising meat chickens on a scale of 2,000 to 6,000 chickens.

The association was established with the aim of gathering farmer members to raise chickens together to support each other in safe chicken raising processes, steps to prepare raising conditions, barns, breed selection, care and feeding methods, food selection; how to identify, diagnose and treat some basic respiratory and digestive diseases, methods of disease and environmental control, how to use vaccines... to provide safe food to consumers, thereby contributing to gradually creating the local free-range chicken brand.

Ward 15 residential group currently has 314 households, most of whom are engaged in agriculture, growing crops and raising livestock, of which about 40 households raise super egg chickens, free-range chickens, Dong Tao chickens, crossbred fighting chickens... which have brought high economic efficiency.
